Join Us: Senior Web Developer wanted!

Germany’s no.1 PR, Advertising and Events agency.

2013 brings exciting new challenges and we have ambitious plans for growth in many areas. So that’s where you come in. Literally! We need to find the best of the best who can join us on our journey and propel our company, our clients and fellow team members to the next level. So we are now seeking an experienced senior web developer  to join us in Berlin on our journey, specifically:

1. To lead, mentor and grow our small team of in-house developers
2. To work closely with design lead and project management teams
3. To explore innovative resourcing solutions, with the aim of keeping on time and on budget
4. To effectively plan and forecast resources so that quality control and the ability to deliver is never compromised

What you really do need to have:

• Experience of PHP 5 (pref 5.3+)
• CMS Experience – WordPress, Drupal, Typo3, Terminal4, Joomla, etc
• Solid grasp of Object Orientated principles
• Experience of source code management systems such as SVN
• Solid grasp of MySQL – SQL techniques , Views, Events, Triggers etc
• LAMP, WAMP, XAMPP
• XHTML
• XML
• CSS
• Web services (SOAP/REST) particularly in mapping and location services
• Great spoken and written English

Also ideally, it wouldn’t hurt for you to have demonstrable experience in:

• Frameworks: Zend, Silex, Symphony2, Yii, CakePHP. etc
• Linux/apache administration/ linux command line
• Setting up cron jobs/scheduled tasks
• cURL
• Javascript/JQuery
• Experience with Build/Deployment Servers
• Search solutions (Google, Coveo, Lucene/Solr etc)
• SSH
• Good spoken German
